Putting together common household objects into a pleasing arrangement is another type of photography I enjoy. It seems to satisfy a desire to be creative with the mundane.

 

Having been a Graphic Designer for many years,

creating still life images allows me to do pretty much the same thing I did when I designed a magazine ad or a corporate logo, which boils down to figuring out

what will catch the viewer's eye and cause them

to take a longer look.
